In a notable move within the football world, Plymouth Argyle has officially secured the signing of winger Ronan Curtis from fellow League One team Port Vale on a permanent basis. This acquisition marks an exciting development for the club as they look to enhance their roster.
At 29 years of age, Curtis has agreed to a two-and-a-half-year contract at Home Park, where he will reunite with former Port Vale striker Lorent Tolaj, who joined Argyle during the summer transfer period.
Curtis made his way to Port Vale in the summer of 2024 after his tenure at AFC Wimbledon, where he played a pivotal role in helping the team achieve promotion from League Two last season. Over the course of that season, he made a significant impact by featuring in 42 league matches and finding the back of the net five times.
His football journey began at Derry City before he moved to Portsmouth in 2018. During his five-year stint at Fratton Park, he made an impressive 226 appearances and scored 57 goals. In his debut season at Portsmouth, he was part of the squad that lifted the EFL Trophy, showcasing his ability to perform in critical moments.
