Drivers in Ashford are facing a significant detour as a main road is set to close for an entire month due to gas works. Chart Road, a vital route for those traveling from Barrow Hill vets towards the 'tank' roundabout, has been blocked off since earlier this week and will remain closed until February 2nd. This closure impacts drivers heading out of town, who now have to take a longer route via A292 towards Drovers Roundabout and then Templar War towards the 'tank' roundabout.
